WE BID A FOND ADIEU TO THE OLD COBWEBBED ALCOVE. For various reasons, I have brought to an end the old blog that was. One reason is that I was simply running out of stars to write about. Another reason was blogger's seeming inability to post something to look the way I designed it i.e. the constant huge spaces between each movie title which I could do nothing to eliminate. Recently the Weaverman Archives, to which this blog was a clone, closed down as well. While at first I had no plans to end this blog, I gradually began to see that there was no future in it and it had run its course and served its purpose.

THAT having been said, THE COBWEBBED ALCOVE will rise again like phoenix from the ashes. I have a concept for a blog which actually predates the old Cobwebbed Alcove concept by a couple years and I may give that a shot. Logistics have to be worked out before that happens. So for now, THE COBWEBBED ALCOVE is closed down for future renovation. I will make a big announcement when it's going to come back. But until then I'd like to thank all those who read and enjoyed the previous incarnation of this blog. Until we meet again. . .
